I will do everything possible to keep the tax rate as low as possible while maintaining the quality services our citizens expect. Taxes need to be used wisely and to the benefit of our citizens.
I will promote Economic Development which helps to keep taxes lower. Businesses over Houses!
Work with the municipalities to adequately fund expansion of our water and sewer resources to ensure our citizens have basic services and businesses can operate.
We need to collaborate with the municipalities so they fully understand the growth in our County and its impact on our infrastructure, including schools.
I will work with the School Board to make sure we efficiently and effectively use funds for our schools. Every dollar needs to be a positive impact on the classroom.
I will strive to ensure our farmers have the resources they need to continue operating their farms, many of them passed down for generations.
I believe it is extremely important to actively work with our State Legislators to ensure that the effects of bills coming out of Raleigh are discussed and known.
